Game notes: With games against Vermont, Hartford and Maryland-Baltimore County already under its belt, UMaine now faces another conference leader in Stony Brook, which sits one-half game behind Vermont after a 12-3 nonconference slate that included wins over South Carolina, George Washington and Rhode Island. Yeboah, a junior, is on the midseason watch list for the Lou Henson Award, given to the nation’s best mid-major player. He and Vermont’s Anthony Lamb are the AE players on the list. White ranks fifth in rebounds, assists and assist-to-turnover ratio (1.2), and is second in minutes per game (37.1). Otchene is America East’s leading shot blocker. UMaine has shot 43 percent (22 of 51) on 3-pointers in its past two games to improve to 30 percent, still last in America East. UMaine next visits Binghamton on Jan. 26 and UMass Lowell on Jan. 30 before returning home to host New Hampshire at 1 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 3.
