The man who died in a house fire in Orrington last month has been identified.
Burton Hagelin, 51, died on Jan. 19 when a fire tore through a two-story Brewer Lake Road home, according to Stephen McCausland, spokesman for the Maine Department of Public Safety.
A woman, previously identified as Shelly Lynn Murphy, also died in that fire.

McCausland said Hagelin, previously from Dover-Foxcroft, wasn’t immediately identified because he told others in the home he was someone else.
The three other people — 57-year-old Richard Murphy, 34-year-old Douglas Davis and 52-year-old Tanya Clapp — who lived in home survived the fire.
