South Berwick Police have arrested 39-year-old Adam Masucci of Wells on an arson charge.
Masucci allegedly started a fire at the base of a homemade political sign and flag on Earls Road on December 9, 2018, according to police.
The Maine State Fire Marshal’s Office investigated the fire and determined that it was a case of arson.
Police confirm that the sign was in support of President Donald Trump.
Masucci is free on bail and is scheduled to appear in the York County Superior Court on March 8.
