The Madison girls basketball team easily defeated Hebron Academy 39-16 Tuesday evening in a Class C South preliminary game to earn a berth in the quarterfinals.
Madison never trailed in the game, which took place at Hebron. The team opened up a lead early in the game, taking a 14-2 advantage at the end of the first quarter.
Madison fell to Boothbay in the semifinals of the 2018 tournament, 53-45.
