No. 7 Old Orchard Beach rolled past No. 10 Madison 50-29 in a boys C South preliminary match Thursday night to earn a spot in the quarterfinals.
Old Orchard Beach’s record improves to 9-10 for the season. Madison’s season ends at 8-11.
Next up for Old Orchard is the C South quarterfinals, where they will face Waynflete on Monday, Feb. 18.
Old Orchard did not earn a berth in the 2018 Class C tournament. Madison was ousted in the quarterfinals by Winthrop, after falling 49-38.
