No. 5 Kennebunk boys defeated No. 4 Leavitt 72-55 in A South quarterfinal action Friday night at the Portland Expo to move on to the semifinals.
Kennebunk’s season improves to 15-4. Leavitt ends its season with a record of 15-4.
Kennebunk will go on to play the winner of tonight’s quarterfinal matchup between No. 1 Greely (15-3) vs. No. 8 Mt. Ararat (10-9). That semifinal game will take place Wednesday, Feb. 20 at 7:30 p.m. at the Cross Arena in Portland.
Kennebunk exited the 2018 tourney in the quarterfinal round after falling to Westbrook, 53-32.
