Top-seed Boothbay girls continued their undefeated streak Tuesday despite a tough battle from No. 8 Saint Dominic Academy of Auburn, winning 32-26 in a C South quarterfinal playoff game.
The Seahawks’ record improves to an impressive 19-0. St. Dom’s season ends with a 12-8 record.
Boothbay will move on to the semifinals and face Madison on Thursdays, Feb. 21 at 4 p.m. at the Augusta Civic Center.
Boothbay advanced to the C South finals in 2018, where the Seahawks fell to Monmouth Academy 51-47.
