Top-seed Gray-New Gloucester defeated No. 9 Maranacook 61-27 on Tuesday at the Portland Expo to advance to the B South semifinals.
The Patriots’ record improves to 17-2 after the quarterfinal victory. Maranacook’s season ends with a 10-10 record.

GNG will next face Wells in the semifinals, which will take place Thursday, Feb. 21 at 2:30 p.m. at the Portland Cross Insurance Arena.
The Patriots exited the 2018 tourney in the semifinal round, narrowly losing to Lake Region 34-31.
