A man is in critical condition and two others were injured after a single-car crash Saturday night on Mann Road in China.

The driver, Dominic Conlogue, 20, of Palermo, was taken by Lifeflight of Maine helicopter to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston after the crash, according to Maine State Police spokesman Stephen McCausland.

The car went off the road at about 9 p.m., struck trees and turned over, pinning Conlogue and Austin Berry, 20, of Machias, who was riding in the passenger seat. Cole Donald, 20, of Palermo was able to get out of the car and seek help, McCausland said. Both Berry and Donald were treated for their injuries and released.

Police said that speed and alcohol are expected to be factors in the crash.
