The driver of a FedEx truck was taken to the hospital with neck and chest pain after, due to icy conditions, the truck crashed into a tree on Kingfisher Road, near Pemaquid Point, on Friday, March 1.
Wade Gould, 36, of Lisbon Falls, was delivering packages at the time of the crash, according to Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputy Alonzo Connor. He was driving toward Route 130.
Gould was wearing a seatbelt and the truck’s air bag deployed, Connor said. Gould was transported to LincolnHealth’s Miles Campus.
The road was sanded after the crash.
