YORK, Maine — Southbound traffic on the Maine Turnpike, just south of the York toll, was reduced to two lanes for about 30 minutes due to an accident Tuesday morning.
At 8:30 a.m., a driver entering the southbound lanes at the York entrance of the turnpike struck the rear of a parked tractor trailer, which was in the breakdown lane, Maine State Police spokesman Stephen McCausland said.
