A South Berwick man was arrested Sunday after police say he inappropriately touched a 7-year-old child.
Linwood Reeves, 71, was familiar with the child and the incident occurred at his home, according to the South Berwick Police Department.
He was taken to the York County Jail in Alfred, where his bail was set at $7,500.
A 1985 conviction made Reeves a lifetime registrant on the Maine Sex Offender Registry.
