During municipal elections on Friday, March 15, Nobleboro residents voted for a new selectman, Jon Chadwick, and a new road commissioner, Dale Wright.

For a three-year term on the town’s board of selectmen, Chadwick received 100 votes and incumbent Harold “Bud” Lewis received 88 votes.

For a two-year term as the town’s road Commissioner, Wright received 105 votes and incumbent John York received 91 votes.

In an uncontested election for two three-year terms on the town’s school committee Angela White received 160 votes and Shawna Kurr received 132 votes.

A total of 185 votes were cast in this year’s municipal elections, according to Town Clerk Susan Pinnetti-Isabel.

Town meeting will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 16, and will take place in the gymnasium of Nobleboro Central School.
