The victims — a 29-year-old woman and 43-year-old man — are at a Portland hospital with serious injuries, but are expected to recover, Martin said. Decker allegedly stabbed them under the Deering Avenue overpass of Interstate 295, he said.

Bail has been set for Decker at $5,000, he said.

Portland police are asking anyone with information about the alleged attack to call the department at 207-874-8575.
