CHAMBERSBURG, Pennsylvania — Closing arguments are scheduled Tuesday in the trial of a West Virginia man accused of gunning down a motorist on Interstate 81 more than 5 years ago.
PennLive.com reports that defense attorneys for 42-year-old John Strawser Jr. of Terra Alta presented no evidence after prosecutors rested their case.

Prosecutors in Franklin County charged Strawser with first-degree murder in the January 2014 death of 28-year-old Timothy Davison of Poland, Maine.
Police say Davison was driving home to Maine when a pickup truck driver started firing at him, rammed his SUV, forcing it onto a median, and then circled back and shot him again.
Two ex-friends said Strawser had threatened them and they were driving in a similar vehicle. The defense has questioned why it took them 16 months to come forward.
