LIMERICK, Maine — An armed robber was shot and killed Friday night by a York County deputy at the Dollar General in Limerick.

The area around the Dollar General store in Limerick was closed off Friday night well into the night.

York County Sheriff William King said the man shot and killed was an armed robber.
