A gas utility line break forced the closure of a section of Warren Avenue in Portland on Monday.
A crew from the Unitil gas and electric company was working on the break as of 3 p.m. between Riverside Avenue and the Interstate 95 overpass, according to a tweet from the city of Portland.
It was unclear when the break occurred. The road will be reopened when it is safe.
