It is with a good deal of sadness that I say goodbye to certain places where I am no longer welcomed. There is a new fear-driven medical segregation that I believe has no basis in science or common sense that welcomes the vaccinated while excluding those who cannot or choose not to take this path. Either group can transmit and be infected and in some cases the unvaccinated may submit a negative COVID-19 test to be admitted to some theaters or restaurants while no one demands the same of the vaccinated who could be infected with a breakthrough case. Submit a test to prove you’re not diseased, I think not.

Those with natural immunity are not even recognized in all this signage.

A young fully vaccinated black man  has explained how he stood in Albany, New York recently and began a movement called rip it up. He took his vaccine ID card and tore it up saying he would not be a part of medical segregation. He knew what social segregation looked like and had lived it, but he would not use a card to help identify, separate, and in some cases exclude others from society and their rights as free individuals.

What a brilliant and unifying thing to do. Rip it up! A proud moment for a brave man of integrity.
