ORONO – The Eastern Maine Orchid Society will hold their next meeting on Saturday, March 19 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Roger Clapp Greenhouse classroom at the University of Maine.

EMOS President Janelle Delicata will present “What Does It Mean?” a program on how orchids are named, what orchid names mean, and why it’s important to save those tags found in many orchid plants.

There will be a brief business meeting followed by the presentation.
