Alvin Beal and I lobster on the water and our son has started his livelihood as a lobsterman. I am really concerned that the  Kingfish project in Jonesport could change all of that forever.

I worry Kingfish could pollute our bay for their own gain. We have no long-term research on what will happen to our bay if they are allowed to move forward and discharge 1,580 pounds of nitrogen a day into the water. There are no studies about the impact. Shouldn’t we know that before we just give them a blank check? Once they are in I think it will be impossible to get rid of them. Shouldn’t we know the answer to all of this?
