A school bus carrying one student crashed into a tree on East Side Road Friday morning, Newscenter Maine reported.
The bus, which only had the one student and the driver inside at the time, crashed around 191 East Side Road, the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office told the station.
It’s believed that the driver, Lyndon Roberts, 67, of Boothbay, may have suffered a medical event that caused him to lose control of the bus, officials said.
Roberts and the student were taken to Miles Memorial Hospital in Damariscotta for minor injuries.
