Presque Isle man fatally hit by SUV

A Presque Isle man died after he was struck by an SUV Friday evening, WABI reported.

Carter Sowers, 25, was hit after the SUV went off South Main Street, officials told the station.

Sowers was taken to a hospital where he died of his injuries while the driver of the SUV was not injured, the station reported.

The crash remains under investigation.
