A Vinalhaven man was killed in a Thursday night crash on the island.
Connor Lazaro, 18, was driving a pickup truck on North Haven Road about 9:30 p.m. when he left the road and crashed into trees, according to CBS affiliate WABI.
He died at the scene.
Police believe speed and alcohol may be factors in the crash, but it remains under investigation.
