The body of Seth Vosmus of New Gloucester was recovered on Wednesday, according to the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office.
The 34-year-old went kayaking in Freeport on Saturday and had not been seen since. Vosmus’ truck was found in Freeport, but the kayak and Vosmus were not with it, according to officials.
An investigation into Vosmus’ death has been opened.
