Rep. Chellie Pingree, a Democrat representing Maine’s 1st Congressional District, and Republican challenger Ed Thelander are set to meet on the debate stage at 8 p.m. on Wednesday night.
The debate, hosted by the Portland Press Herald and Maine Public, will be moderated by Maine Public reporter Jennifer Rooks, and is expected to last an hour.
