Two people had minor injuries after a three-car crash Wednesday morning.

The crash happened around 7:10 a.m. on Route 2 near Spruce Street and Hillcrest Drive, according to the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office.

A driver pulled out of a driveway and into the path of another car. The two cars crashed and one car went into a utility pole.

The pole collapsed on top of the car, police said.

A third driver’s vehicle rolled over when the person tried to avoid the crash and went off the road.

Two drivers had minor injuries and were taken to a hospital. One driver was not injured.

Central Maine Power was at the scene shortly after the crash and replaced the pole.
