In less than two weeks, hunters from across the state and the country will be combing the Maine woods and riding the roads in search of moose.

The first week of the season begins on Monday, Sept. 25.

If you’re looking to get the hunting juices flowing, or you simply enjoy watching the state’s largest game animal, here is a peek at the offerings we have in Maine.

This one is another beauty that was making the rounds on a well-beaten path through the forest.

We are indebted to Colin Chase for allowing us to share his videos with Bangor Daily News readers. You can check out more of his numerous offerings by visiting his “Maine Woodsbooger” YouTube channel.
