A Cumberland man was arrested Tuesday and accused of stabbing another man multiple times in Portland.
Portland police were called to 5 Portland St. at 9 p.m. where they found a man who appeared to have been stabbed multiple times.
The man was brought to Maine Medical Center. Police say the injuries were not life-threatening.
Based on a description of the alleged attacker, police found and arrested Antonio Henriques, 25, of Cumberland, and charged him with elevated aggravated assault and reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon. He is being held at Cumberland County Jail.
