Bomb threat targeting Vermont restaurant came from Maine

Police in Vermont are investigating a bomb threat that appears to have come from Maine.

The threat was made against Zenbarn, a restaurant in Waterbury, on Friday night.

At the time of the threat, Zenbarn was hosting a Vermont Democratic Party fundraiser, but most people had left before the call was received, according to police.

Vermont State Police said the call originated from a landline in Maine. Police are working with the Oxford County Sheriff’s Office to identify the caller.
