Police arrested a 24-year-old Fort Fairfield father in the death of his 7-month-old son in 2022.
The death of infant Jackson Hazell of April 8, 2022, was ruled a homicide by the chief medical examiner. A lengthy investigation resulted in the arrest of the child’s father, Stanley Hazell, in Caribou on Nov. 13, according to Maine State Police spokesperson Shannon Moss.
Stanley Hazell is currently being held on a $50,000 cash bond and the Maine attorney general’s office will prosecute the case.
