WALDO — Waldo County Technical Center’s Building Construction program is building sheds that are available to be purchased by the public. Each 8- by 10-foot building is built like a house would be, with pressure treated subfloor framing and laid out 16 inches on center. Sheds come with two doors, one six foot double barn door and one 36-inch steel door. The subfloor and roof are sheathed with Advantech.
Prices for sheds range from $3,700 to $4,100 depending on the type of siding (vinyl or cedar) and roofing (asphalt shingles or metal). Sheds must be picked up by the buyer at WCTC, 1022 Waterville Road in Waldo. For more information, call WCTC’s Business Manager Joya Maynard at 207-223-3422.
