PORTLAND, Maine — Portland firefighters battled frigid temperatures while also fighting a fire on Saturday morning.
The Portland Fire Department says crews fought a house fire on Frost Street on a frigid Saturday morning.
The fire department says the fire was inside a wall in the house and was spreading up into the attic.
Crews were able to extinguish the fire quickly but say the house sustained heavy damage.
The fire department did not specify if anyone was home at the time in their Facebook post or if any injuries were sustained.
