The second-seeded Brunswick girls defeated top-seeded Mt. Ararat of Topsham 39-30 in the Class A South championship basketball game at the Portland Expo on Friday.
The victory carried the Dragons into the Class A state championship game against Cony of Augusta at 1:05 p.m., Saturday, March 2 at the Cross Insurance Arena in Portland.
