The Valley of Bingham boys basketball team defeated St. Dominic of Auburn 45-36 to win the Class D South regional championship at the Augusta Civic Center on Saturday.
Top-seeded Valley advances to play D North champion Bangor Christian in the state championship game at 2:45 p.m., Saturday, March 2 in Augusta.
