Two young New Hampshire girls have been found safe.

An Amber Alert was issued Thursday for 4-year-old Elowyn Duren and 1-year-old Vaelyn Duren who were last seen with their biological father, 37-year-old Dustin Mark Duren.

That came after the body of their mother, Caitlyn Naffziger, was found inside a Main Street apartment in Berlin about 10:30 p.m. Thursday, according to the New Hampshire attorney general’s office.

Her death is considered suspicious.

The children were seen in Berlin around 8 p.m. Thursday with Dustin Mark Duren, who was considered armed and dangerous, according to police.

Authorities said the children were found Friday and are safe. Duren was taken into custody in Keene.
