A Leeds man was killed Monday evening when another vehicle struck his motorcycle.

The motorcyclist was slowing down for a stopping school bus on Turner Street in Canton when another vehicle struck him from behind, according to the Sun Journal.

The motorcyclist, identified as 44-year-old Travis Boivin, died at the scene, CBS affiliate WGME reported. He wasn’t wearing a helmet.

The driver of the other vehicle, a 30-year-old man from the town of Mexico, hasn’t been publicly identified. He wasn’t hurt, WGME reported.

The crash remains under investigation.
