Andrew Bowser, 62, was found dead inside a burning home on Clark Island Road about 7:46 a.m. March 27, according to Shannon Moss, a spokesperson for the Maine Department of Public Safety.

Bowser lived alone at the residence, which is a rental property, Moss said Wednesday.

His body was taken to the Maine medical examiner’s office in Augusta, where an autopsy was performed and a positive identification was made.
