A man’s body was found in the Androscoggin River in Lisbon Falls on Wednesday morning.
The body was found about 10:01 a.m. at the Eagle Creek Renewable Energy dam on Canal Street, according to Lisbon Police Chief Ryan McGee.
The body was pulled from the river and taken to the Maine medical examiner’s office, where an autopsy will be performed, McGee said.
The death remains under investigation, and McGee said that no more information is currently being released.
He said there’s no threat to the public.
