The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office arrested three people on drug trafficking charges after searching a Greenbush residence Friday evening.

The sheriff’s office said it found suspected drugs and evidence of drug trafficking at a Main Road home after conducting a search warrant at around 5 p.m. Friday.

Monte Smith, 59, of Greenbush was apprehended later in the evening and charged with aggravated trafficking of scheduled drugs, a Class A felony. Shane Howe, 39, of Greenbush was charged with trafficking of scheduled drugs, a Class B felony. Andrea Carlow, 33, of Greenbush and Millinocket was charged with trafficking of scheduled drugs, a Class B felony, and also had an active felony arrest warrant.
