Police on Tuesday identified the victim of a fatal crash Monday morning in which a pickup truck struck a house in Hampden. The driver of the truck, Brian Fournier, 45, of Old Town, died from injuries suffered in the crash. Fournier was driving east on Coldbrook Road at about 8:30 a.m. Monday when he left the road for unknown reasons, Hampden Public Safety Director Christian Bailey said. He drove through a field before crashing into a house on the 300 block, about a mile north of the intersection with Route 202, Bailey said. The cause of the crash remains under investigation, according to Hampden police. Two people were inside the house at the time of the crash, but neither was injured.
