In the June 13 letter published by the Bangor Daily News, I think James Moore’s business model for immigration is incomplete.

Maine needs more housing for its workers. There’s a shortage of affordable housing in all hospitality regions. I’ve observed this in Greenville and Bar Harbor. The hospitality industry has done as well as possible with cumbersome work visas. Therein lies another problem.

Government makes it difficult to obtain foreign workers. I’ve observed this in Bar Harbor. I believe immigration policies are pathetic, ask any border patrol officer. Ask any taxpayer who is financially supporting lax border and immigration policies. The landscape of America has changed and not for the better.
