A fire damaged a restaurant in Eddington overnight Wednesday.

The fire started around 2 a.m. at Heritage On 9 Restaurant & Tavern, a member of the Eddington Fire Department said Wednesday. Nobody was in the building when firefighters arrived on scene. No one was injured.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Office of Maine State Fire Marshal.
