A Clinton woman who had been missing since shortly after 11 a.m. Saturday was found safe Saturday evening.

Clinton Police Department issued a Silver Alert Saturday afternoon after Cheryl Capone, 61, drove away from her home in the late morning and didn’t return.

Capone reportedly has cognitive issues, according to Shannon Moss, spokesperson for the Maine Department of Public Safety.
