Cooper Flagg signed a shoe endorsement deal with New Balance on Aug. 26. Now he’s partnering with New Era, a manufacturer of sports-affiliated headwear and related merchandise.
Other college athletes that have signed on as “New Era Ambassadors” include University of Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers and Notre Dame women’s basketball guard Hannah Hidalgo.
“This star player from Newport, Maine is pledging to the Duke Brotherhood. Grab your hat and support his journey with New Era Cap,” New Era’s website says.
The Duke University merchandise available for purchase does not have Flagg’s name, image or likeness (NIL) on the caps themselves.
Financial details of the agreement were not released and Flagg’s agent had no comment.
