A Levant apple orchard has taken top prize again for its popular corn maze design.

Treworgy Family Orchards said Wednesday that it took the No. 1 spot for corn mazes in USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards.

That comes after Treworgy’s took the No. 1 spot for its 2023 maze depicting a farmer driving a tractor through a pumpkin patch and for its 2022 maze depicting beloved children’s storybook character Winnie-the-Pooh.

Treworgy’s has been crafting corn maze designs since 2001.

“We are deeply grateful to our loyal customers, fans, and the entire Treworgy community for making this possible for the third year in a row,” said Kat Jenkins, maze designer and agricultural manager at Treworgy Family Orchards. “Our goal is always to create a place where families can connect with agriculture and each other, and this win is a testament to the hard work and creativity of our team.”

This year’s maze depicts Peter Rabbit, a mischievous rabbit who finds nothing but trouble when he trespasses in Mr. McGregor’s garden in the tales of Beatrix Potter.

The maze covers 4 acres and comprises 60,000 corn plants grown to a height of 10 feet, according to the Readers’ Choice Awards profile. Visitors can navigate through trivia stations, and the maze features a 25-foot observation tower offering views of the maze and surrounding farmland.

Treworgy’s corn maze will be open Tuesdays through Sundays until November. Tickets are $10 during weekdays and $13 on weekends. Children age 2 and younger can explore the maze for free. For more information on tickets, maze hours and other seasonal activities, visit treworgyorchards.com.
