An Albion man died Friday night after crashing into a rock.
James McGarey, 53, was driving a 2012 Dodge pickup truck south on East Benton Road about 7:41 p.m. when he left the road and hit a rock, according to Maine State Police Lt. Aaron Turcotte.
Troopers attempted life-saving measures, but McGarey succumbed to his injuries, Turcotte said Saturday morning.
The crash remains under investigation.
