The baseball field that is home to the Portland Sea Dogs is now known as Delta Dental Park.

The Sea Dogs, a minor league affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, announced the multi-year naming rights deal with Delta Dental on Thursday, and said the change is effective immediately.

The field at 271 Park Ave. in Portland was formerly known as Hadlock Field after Edson Hadlock Jr., a longtime Portland High School baseball coach.

Northeast Delta Dental is a dental insurance company operating in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont.

The Sea Dogs’ home opener at Delta Dental Park is scheduled for April 8, 2025.
