With the regular season and preliminary rounds over, quarterfinal action gets underway in North boys high school soccer action.

In Class A, No. 6 Hampden Academy (7-6-1) travels to No. 3 Brunswick (11-3) at 5 p.m. Tuesday. Brunswick shut out the Broncos 6-0 in their regular season meeting in September.

No. 7 Bangor (6-8) will visit No. 2 Lewiston (12-2-1) at 5 p.m. on Wednesday. Lewiston handily beat the Rams 6-1 in their regular season meeting in early October.

No. 8 Messalonskee of Oakland (6-8) will travel to No. 1 Camden Hills for a 3 p.m. clash on Wednesday. The teams met twice in the regular season with Camden Hills winning by scores of 5-0 and 4-0.

No. 5 Edward Little of Auburn (9-5-1) visits No. 4 Mt. Ararat of Topsham (8-5-1) at 6 p.m. Wednesday.

Class B matchups on Wednesday feature No. 8 Presque Isle (9-6) vs. No. 1 John Bapst of Bangor (13-1) at 6 p.m. at Hampden Academy.

No. 5 Ellsworth (12-3) visits No. 4 Waterville (13-1) at 3 p.m. at Colby College.

No. 6 Gardiner (11-4) makes the trek north to play No. 3 Caribou (9-3-2) at 3:30 p.m.

No. 7 Oceanside (9-4-2) goes to Waldoboro to play No. 2 Medomak Valley (8-2-4) at 3 p.m.

In Class C North on Wednesday, No. 8 Sumner of East Sullivan (4-10) is at No. 1 Mt. View of Thorndike (14-0) at 3:30 p.m.

No. 5 Fort Kent (6-6-2) travels to No. 4 Washington Academy of East Machias (10-3-1) at 2 p.m.

No. 6 Central of Corinth (8-6) visits No. 3 Orono (11-3) at 3:15 p.m.

No. 7 Foxcroft Academy (8-6) goes to Blue Hill to take on No. 2 George Stevens Academy at 2:30 p.m.

In Class D action, No. 8 Wisdom of St. Agatha (8-6-1) travels to No. 1 Bangor Christian (13-1) at 3:30 p.m.

No. 5 Katahdin of Stacyville (9-5-1) visits No. 4 Easton (10-3-1).

No. 6 Machias (9-4) goes to No. 3 Fort Fairfield (11-2-1) at 5:30 p.m.

No. 7 Lee Academy (9-6) visits No. 2 Madawaska (9-1-4) at 3 p.m.

In 8-person matchups, No. 8 Ashland (5-6-1) is at No. 1 Calais (13-1) at 3:30 p.m.

No. 7 Shead of Eastport (7-7) is at No. 2 Piscataquis of Guilford (10-3-1).

No. 6 Southern Aroostook of Dyer Brook (7-6) is at No. 3 Mattanawcook Academy of Lincoln (8-6).

No. 5 Dexter (6-7-1) travels to East Millinocket to battle No. 4 Schenck/Stearns (9-5) at 3 p.m.
