Wouldn’t it be nice to have a scientist on the Waldo County Commission who understands critical issues like: PFAS, climate change, soil erosion, Lyme disease and fentanyl? Alan Cohen is just such a person, with a background not only in science, but in working on the local level to make life better for Waldo County residents.
As a fellow Winterport resident, I know Alan personally, and he exhibits all the qualities you would want in a public servant: honesty, humility, deep concern for the day-to-day lives of Mainers, a knack for bringing people together and solving problems. Please join me next Tuesday in helping to elect Alan Cohen as Waldo County commissioner!
