ORONO – Beware! Ogre! Orono Middle and High School are thrilled to announce the upcoming production of “Shrek The Musical”, scheduled for Nov. 15 and 16 at 7 p.m., with a matinee performance on Nov. 17 at 2 p.m. The performances will take place at the Orono Performing Arts Center, located at 14 Goodridge Road.
Join us as we journey to a land filled with adventure, humor, and heart, as Shrek, the ogre, sets off on a quest to rescue Princess Fiona and reclaim his swamp from the flim-flammer Farquaad. This enchanting musical, based on the Academy Award-winning film, features a fantastic score with a live pit orchestra, great choreography, and a talented, hilarious cast of students who are sure to delight audiences of all ages.
